2007 Winter Solstice Ceremony

On December 21, 2007 members of the NACEA/AICCM Staff, Board, Project Partners and Multi-Tribal Working Group met to pay witness to the setting sun. In the future, visitors will be able to stand in the Courtyard of the Nations and look West through the West Passage Tunnel to witness the Winter Solstice.  Standing in that same point on June 21 and looking  over the top of the Great Promontory will provide a beautiful view of the Summer Solstice.
