Native American Cultural & Educational Authority (NACEA)
In 1994, the Oklahoma Legislature created the Native American Cultural and Educational Authority, a state agency authorized to construct and operate a Cultural Center and Museum for the purpose of generating awareness and understanding of the history of tribes and their relationship to Oklahoma today. The NACEA has made tremendous progress toward realization of the American Indian Cultural Center. Construction has begun, and an institutional plan has been developed and implentation plan has commenced.
